Michael J. Hadjihannas, Founder

Michael J. Hadjihannas is a highly accomplished leader in finance, bringing almost two decades of delivering expertise in audit and assurance, international tax planning, financial due diligence and business advisory services. Michael oversees business valuations, restructuring, financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance, making him a trusted advisor to clients across various sectors globally. As a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Michael currently serves as a member of the Network IFRS Committee for FinExpertiza Global and holds the position of Global Development Director for Europe, leading strategic growth initiatives across the region. His leadership extends to heading the Operations Department at FinExpertiza Cyprus, where he drives both the Technical and Operation Department in the firm.

Michael's commitment to regulatory excellence is reflected in his 2018 Advanced Certification for Financial Services Regulatory Framework by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), underscoring his deep knowledge in complex tax frameworks. In 2015, he earned the prestigious Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He is registered with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2011, following five years at KPMG Cyprus. He holds a BSc in Management with Accounting from Royal Holloway, University of London (2006) and an MSc in Risk Analysis from King’s College London (2007). Michael has an ongoing dedication to professional growth and is a natural motivator, fostering continuous development within his teams. In 2023, he obtained the level 5 Professional Qualification Certification as a Trainer of Vocational Training by the Human Resource Development Authority of the Republic of Cyprus.
